Jesus And Me

We believe in the family and church working together to create a Biblical learning environment that doesn’t begin and end at church…it works in conjunction with each other. We believe Biblical learning occurs seven days a week with J.A.M. teachers conveying relevant truths of God’s Word to children on Sundays and the parents building on and re-enforcing what their children have learned throughout the week. Nursery for children up to 5 years old is available throughout our 10 a.m. weekly services.For those who have not returned to church services, please see the following link to resources/tools to help strengthen kids’ faith and how to defend it.  We provide activity pages for children who attend our Sunday Services.

J.A.M. Nursery is for infants to three years of age. Programming for the preschoolers on Sunday mornings typically includes free play, a Bible story, a snack and a craft. If you have any questions, please contact our Nursery Coordinator, Morgan Allan, nursery@riceroadcc.ca.

J.A.M. Session (Jesus and Me) is exactly like its name! We understand the importance of engaging children who need to have all their senses touched to learn. Jesus did it, so why shouldn’t we learn from the Master Teacher and do it too?  Our ministry is to children in grades J.K.-6.  If you have any questions, please contact the J.A.M. J.A.M. Sensory was a ministry to children in grades J.K.-6 who have identified exceptionalities to help them decompress when overwhelmed or overstimulated in the larger group setting.  It was designed to help them collect themselves and prepare to return to their group to participate with others as they learn about Jesus and how they can be like Him.  It is currently not up and running.  We are discussing where it could be located when reinstated and the need to train people to care for those in need of this ministry.  For more information and updates on its status, contact Pastor Matt at pastor@riceroadcc.ca.
